The miniature sensor configuration permits low-amplitude, dynamic compression, tension, and impact force measurements. Two configurations, one with a tapped mounting hole and impact cap and the other with tapped holes on both ends of the sensor, are available. Link, integrated link, and free-stand­ing installations are possible.

A full-scale measure­ment range of 2.2 lb (10 N) compression and 1 lb (4.5 N) tension is standard. Additional ranges are available. Applications include matrix print-head studies, wire bonding, and high-frequency, low-level impulse testing.­
