Director of Manufacturing Engineering - Depew, NY

PCB Piezotronics, Inc, a global leader in the manufacture of sensors for test and measurement applications, is looking for an experienced Director of Manufacturing Engineering for our Depew Corporate office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a corporate vision, setting goals, developing strategic plans and driving company culture. Overall responsibility for all Manufacturing Engineering. Duties include working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel to develop, implement, and monitor business plans to achieve corporate objectives; and working with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure successful new product launches, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes. Will be responsible for all manufacturing policies and procedures. A background in engineering, six sigma, lean manufacturing, and formal training in a problem solving/design of experiments is desired.

Candidates must have ten to fifteen years experience in a similar position in a high tech, high volume manufacturing environment; and a proven track record demonstrating project management and leadership skills. BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering required, MS or PhD preferred. PE or MBA a plus. Strong decision making ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record as a leader are required. Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience are also required.
