Inventory Coordinator I - Depew, NY

According to written instructions, distributes materials necessary to perform product assembly by assembly technicians within a specific department; monitors the inventory for accuracy and notifies appropriate personnel when a discrepancy is determined or inventory replenishment is required. Promotes teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction among team members. Displays ownership and accountability for accurate inventory. Verifies and maintains accuracy in quantity, description, labeling, safe packaging and system location record of all materials. Works with colleagues and/or supervisor to address any issues as soon as found and prior to making further transactions. Performs transactions to receive materials into designated put-away locations. Creates transactions and necessary paperwork to issue material to jobs and or transfer orders. Maintains proper flow and location of KanBan signals. Properly assigns lot #’s to materials; ensures that lot tracking information is transferred to appropriate paperwork. Reviews routers to ensure all steps have been signed-off; returns to appropriate tech-center supervisor if voids. Processes transactions to issue materials per Parts Request Tags. Assigns to appropriate group with correct reason code / GL account. Maintains epoxy cabinets; executes signals for replenishment; monitors expiration dates and disposes of expired epoxies per procedure. Performs cycle counts and makes adjustments. Uses audit information to determine reasons for discrepancies;, records reasons for discrepancies. Proficient in system transactions to assist with training and problem solving. Suggests and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Performs other related duties as assigned.
