Depew, New York, USA – November 15, 2010 – PCB Piezotronics, Inc., PCB Piezotronics, Inc. introduces Model 357C90 Hi-temperature, hermetically sealed accelerometer for engine turbine testing during flight test or in ground based test cells. Other applications include environmental chamber testing, or exhaust system vibration measurements on rocket or automotive engines up to 1200 °F (649 °C). The charge output unit features hi-temperature hermetic Inconel construction, sensitivity of 5 pC/g, measuring range to 1000 g’s peak, frequency response of 2.5 kHz, and resonant frequency over 14 kHz. The unit is supplied with an integral 10 foot (3 m) hi-temperature connecting cable, and is easily mounted via a thru-hole ¼-28 thread bolt. Additional products are available from PCB to complete the measurement system, such as Airborne amplifiers or in-line charge amplifier Series 422E30.
